How to send KDA from eckoWallet to Crankk dashboard wallet
Exchanges offering Kadena:
Binance Chain 2
KuCoin Chain 1
Gateio Chain 1
OKX Chain 1
Bybit Chain 2
Every exchange is using a different Kadena chain. But, it doesn’t really matter, as we can convert tokens through Chains later on.
The one thing to remember is that Crankk operates on Chain 19.
And if you send KDA to your dashboard wallet from a different chain you must convert it using KDA wallets like eckoWallet.Step 1 First, let’s start with setting up eckoWallet, if you have already done it you can skip to step 2.
You will need to set up a password and 12 keywords as a recovery phrase. Write them down and keep them safe 🙂
Step 2 Now, let’s send some Kadena tokens from Binance.
You can use another exchange of your choice as well.
You can buy some KDA using Convert or Trade options in Binance.
Go to Trades > Convert.
You can convert KDA from EUR/USDT/BUSD/HNT and many more.
Pick the right currency and amount for you, then confirm the transaction.
Step 3 We have to transfer the Kadena tokens to eckoWallet.
In Binance App, go to Wallets > Spot > Select KDA > Withdraw > Send
via Crypto Network
Paste your eckoWallet address (k:publicKey) into Address tab.
Choose amount to send, hit Withdrawal and authorize the transaction.
Step 4 Wait to receive the tokens in your eckoWallet balance
Step 5 Go to Crankk Dashboard to copy your dashboard wallet address (k:publicKey)
When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to set a primary wallet for your account via a yellow banner. Please DO NOT purchase a license with your primary wallet, as you cannot assign a gateway to it.
Login with your Google account and pick the wallet icon in top right corner. Type in your password and keep it safe!
If you still don’t have a wallet, create a new one.
Save both keys securely to avoid losing your assets!
Copy your address (k:publicKey).
Step 6 Transfer from eckoWallet to Crankk Dashboard wallet (chain19)
Go back to eckoWallet and click on Send.
If you send KDA from Binance then you should see your balance on Chain 2.
KuCoin, Gate and OKX – Chain 1
Binance and Bybit – Chain 2
Set Source chain as 2 and Target chain as 19.
Paste the Dashboard wallet address (k:publicKey) into the Destination account tab.
Make sure you click on Advanced Settings and pick the keys-all option.
Step 7 Type the amount you want to transfer. (make sure you don’t send all KDA, leave a small amount to pay for the Gas fees)
Step 8 Press Send and monitor the transfer in Activities tab.
You might need to confirm the transfer by clicking on Finish Cross Chain Transfer tab in Activities.
The transaction might take up to 15 mins. Don’t close the app before the transfer is complete.
Step 9 Buy the software license
Once KDA arrives in your Dashboard wallet, go to
Dashboard > Wallets > Select desired wallet > Buy Software License
You need to have min $150 worth of KDA to buy the license.
(Optional) You can use someone’s Affiliated code.
Clicking the Buy button may take up to 15 minutes to reflect the changes, so please be patient.
If you need any help, you can always ask the Crankk community or contact Technical support team in Discord or Telegram.
Welcome aboard!
