Yes. That is possible. It is not necessary to have both network interface controllers active, but it will not harm your device. It will neither affect gateway performance.

The Local Dashboard shows real-time server latency in the 'System' tab. Login to your gateway's Local Dashboard and go to the System tab.

Advanced: install nmap via SSH to get a more detailed insight in your gateway's connectivity. Install using the folllowing commands:
sudo apt-get install nmap
nmap -Pn -p 8080 csap.crankk.io
nmap -Pn -p 8883 mqtt1.eu.crankk.org

Exclude your SSH client from VPN or firewall restrictions. Try if disabling your VPN or firewall solves the connectivity issue. If this solves the problem, create an exception or exclusion rule in your VPN or firewall settings to allow the SSH connection. Note that the ping is using ICMP protocol on port 80 and SSH connection uses port 22
