In one week, we will issue an official announcement detailing the exact date by which all Crankk Gateway operators will be required to assert the precise location of their gateways. This update is designed to enhance network integrity, optimise coverage, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new users.
Impact on Rewards
Please be advised that failure to comply with this new requirement will result in a significant reduction in rewards. Specifically, gateways without a asserted location will receive a decreased reward of 0.00003 CRKK per event. This measure underscores the importance of accurate location data in our ecosystem.
