Role Overview:
As a Public Relations Specialist at Crankk, you will be responsible for managing our external communications, crafting compelling narratives about our products and initiatives and building strong relationships with media and stakeholders. Your efforts will play a crucial role in enhancing Crankk’s public image and increasing our visibility in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic PR plans to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation
- Craft press releases, media statements and content for social media that reflect Crankk’s brand and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers in the IoT and LoRa sectors
- Monitor media coverage and report on PR campaigns’ effectiveness
- Manage PR crises, providing timely and thoughtful strategies to mitigate negative publicity
- Organize and coordinate public events, press conferences and interviews
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent messaging
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Specialist or similar role, with a portfolio of successful PR campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field
- Strong network of media and industry contacts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories
- Deep understanding of media operations and the digital media landscape
- Ability to work under pressure and manage crises effectively
- Creative and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms and PR software tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
