We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the LoRa market, focusing on sensors, gateways and strategic partnerships.

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager at Crankk, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients and partners and increasing market penetration of our LoRa sensors and gateways. Your role will be crucial in driving our growth strategy by leveraging your knowledge of the IoT and LoRa ecosystem to establish and nurture profitable partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for LoRa sensors, gateways and related solutions
  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize new business opportunities in the LoRa market
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the IoT ecosystem, including potential clients, partners and distributors
  • Negotiate and close deals that align with the company’s strategic goals and revenue targets
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure our offerings meet market needs and expectations
  • Represent Crankk at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events to promote our LoRa solutions
  • Provide market insights and feedback to the leadership team to inform product development and marketing strategies

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the IoT industry, with a strong understanding of LoRa technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product and technical challenges
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences and other events
